Experts Are In

These professionals have volunteered their time to advise social entrepreneurs in areas such as fundraising, financial planning, human resources and legal issues. Not exactly sure what steps to take next to build your business? General experts are available to help direct members to exactly what they need.

Twin Cities Impact Investing
For the purpose of this map, an impact investment is defined as an investment that seeks to create both positive financial return as well as positive social or environmental impact that is actively measured. This map has allowed our local impact investing community to understand the breadth and complexity of the impact investing activity in the twin cities as well as provide context to each organization how they fit within the ecosystem.
Rotating Art Exhibits
Impact Hub is proud to curate rotating art exhibitions throughout the year. Over the course of the exhibit, artists are given access to the impact Hub work space along with the Impact Hub network and community. For Artists, that means potential global outreach to 13,000+ members, including investors, activists, educators, urban food growers and techies. As a Hub member they receive access to all 80+ hubs around the world even while they cultivate support locally. Our hope is that this program will increase cooperation and co-creation between Artists and local entrepreneurs, creating a space where these cross-sector creative groups can learn from one another. In addition, this initiative will allow audiences to find, access and support emerging and established artists, helping them generate income and to share their talents with an ever growing body of followers.
"The artist is a medium between 'what is' and 'what could be.'" -Keith Haring
Informal, community-building events strengthen Hub networks, lead to new business ideas and opportunities, and simply help members recharge. From Sexy Salad lunches to Wine Down happy hours, member-to-member connections are the heart of our community.
